At Thanopoulos, we designed and are currently implementing a comprehensive strategic plan centered on sustainability, with the goal of achieving energy neutrality and autonomy.

As part of this initiative, we have made a significant step by investing in the acquisition of a photovoltaic park.

With this investment, we will be able to fulfill nearly 100% of the annual energy needs of our stores and offices.

Notably, in 2021, Thanopoulos became the first supermarket chain in Greece to incorporate an electric delivery van into its fleet. Today, 50% of our delivery fleet is electric-powered.

Driven by our vision to respect and preserve the environment for future generations, we aim for full energy neutrality across all our facilities, ensuring that our environmental footprint is entirely green.
