“Dynami Charas” program
In 2024, we demonstrated practically&nbsp;that a significant priority of our social action involves children and adolescents. Therefore, in collaboration with the&nbsp;100% Greek company MEGA, we designed and undertook a significant initiative,&nbsp;titled “Dynami Charas”.&nbsp;Our goal is to responsibly and sensitively implement a comprehensive program covering psychological support services, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for the girls of the "Stegi Agias Annas" Foundation on an annual basis. Specifically, within the framework of the “Dynami Charas”&nbsp;program, we cover the cost of learning support for girls with learning (and other) difficulties through the prognosis and restoration of speech, language, communication, learning, organization, and execution disorders, handwriting, reading, play, and social skills. Simultaneously, through the program, we cover the annual cost of psychological support for the Foundation's girls (aged 4-18), aiming to contribute as much as possible to their smooth psychosomatic development. The program is exclusively hosted at Thanopoulos supermarkets, and the first phase has already been completed (7/12/2023 - 10/01/2024). The transitional accommodation structure "Christian Shelter for Girls Agia Anna" was founded in 1972. It is a non-profit child protection foundation and a secondary social care service provider. To date, it has provided accommodation to more than 500 girls.

We systematically collect products for vulnerable groups, placing baskets with special indicators in our stores. Additionally, we participate in additional actions of the organization, such as supporting earthquake victims in Turkey in 2023 and Crete in 2021, as well as supporting children whose families struggle to afford school supplies (back-to-school action).&nbsp;

In recent years, we have offered products from the "Make a Wish" organization with the aim of raising funds to support their activities. We are the first supermarket in Attica to sell the Wish Star in our stores (both physical and online). In our stores, customers can find seasonal items from "Make a Wish," such as summer items, bracelets, Easter products, etc.&nbsp;

Pocket Park Creation in Kifisia
What are pocket parks? They are small green spaces created in undeveloped areas within city neighborhoods.
And why are they important? Because they significantly contribute to the enhancement of the urban landscape where they are created and improve the quality of life for residents.
This is what we envisioned for Kifisia: for the residents of the area to enjoy as much greenery as possible, just a breath away from their homes.
Thus, at prominent points on Trikoupi and Levidou streets, we, together with the "Organization Earth" and P&amp;G (as part of the "Creating Pocket Parks - Making Our Cities More Sustainable" program), created the first pocket park in Kifisia: an environmentally sustainable park perfectly tailored to the characteristics of the area, covering an area of 460 sq.m.
Our creation features more than 580 plants harmonizing with the natural environment of the area, bicycle ramps, autonomous photovoltaic systems, a fountain, benches, etc., and manages to be a real "green" oasis of oxygen, freshness, peace, and relaxation for the area's residents.

Pocket Park Creation in Kifisia

Assistance to Flood-Affected Areas in Thessaly
On September 22th and 24th , 2023, we supported the humanitarian aid convoy to our fellow citizens affected by floods in Thessaly in cooperation with the Elite Special Task Force (EPOMEA), providing essential items such as paper products, gloves, and cleaners. At the same time, we collaborated with Dixons-Kotsovolos, providing complete cleaning sets to 180 families to safely return to their homes.
Relief for Areas Affected by Fires
In August 2021, we actively provided assistance to the affected area of Varybobi, through the Red Cross, &nbsp;and supported the firefighters by providing products. Additionally, we participated in the initiative by VIANEX for the reconstruction and reforestation of the area. Similarly, we stood in complete solidarity and humanity with fire-affected families in Pallini and Penteli, sending first aid products.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, other significant solidarity actions (product donations, fundraising) of D. Thanopoulos S.A. include collaboration with:
• The church for the soup kitchens of the Municipality of Athens
• The Social grocery store
• The Metropolis of Kifisia
• Schools in the Municipality of Kifisia
• The "Agia Anna" Foundation
• The Scouts of Northern Suburbs

Summary of the policy against harassment &amp; intimidation&nbsp;
1. Introduction &amp; Purpose The company is committed to eliminating all forms of violence and harassment in the workplace, particularly sexual harassment, in accordance with Law 4808/2021. The policy aims to foster a work environment that promotes dignity, respect, and equality. 2. Policy Objectives - Inform personel about the concepts and rights related to harassment. - Promote equality and non-discrimination. - Strengthen cooperation between management and employees. - Encourage prevention efforts. - Provide immediate protection to victims and prevent retaliation. 3. Statement of Commitment - Prohibition of all forms of discrimination, harassment or sexual harassment. - Obligation to confidentiality for all parties involved. - Zero tolerance – sanctions, including dismissal, will be imposed. - Ensuring the prompt and confidential handling of complaints. 4. Scope of Application This policy applies to all employees, external partners, trainees and anyone collaborating with the company. 5. Definitions &amp; Forms of Harassment - Harassment: Any unwelcome behavior that offends a person’s dignity. - Sexual Harassment: Verbal, non-verbal or physical acts of a sexual nature without consent. Indicative forms include: - Harassment/Intimidation: Rumors, demeaning comments, isolation, criticism, humiliation. - Sexual Harassment: Unwanted physical contact, sexist comments, suggestive innuendos, pressure to engage in a relationship, unsolicited messages, sexually explicit jokes. 6. Prevention &amp; Response Guidelines A. Prevention: - Education and awareness-raising. - Avoidance of comments or actions based on gender or sexuality. - Establishment and respect of personal boundaries. - Cooperation with Management in Implementing the Policy. B. Response: - Incidents must not be concealed or disregarded. - Address the offender in a calm and composed manner. - Maintain a detailed incidents log. - Notify the Appointed Reporting Person. - Use the standardized complaint form. 7. Company Responsibilities A. Ensuring a Safe Environment: - Prevention and Immediate intervention. - Obligation to ensure non-repetition of incidents. - Support for victims of domestic violence. B. Preventive Measures: - Dissemination of the policy. - Promotion of a culture of respect. - Informing personnel of legal rights and prohibited conduct. 8. Handling Complaints A. Internal/Informal Procedure: - Submission of the complaint to the Appointed Reporting Person. - Assurance of confidentiality and use of mediation. - Documentation and monitoring of the case. B. Internal/Formal Procedure: - Submission of a written complaint. - Investigation by a Three-Member Committee. - Implementation of measures (warning, transfer, disciplinary action, dismissal). - Prevention of retaliation or false accusations. C. Criminal/Civil Procedure: - Complaints may be submitted to the Police, the Hellenic Labour Inspectorate (SEPE) or the Greek Ombudsman. - The right to pursue legal remedies is not affected. 9. Appointed Reporting Person The Appointed Reporting Person is the Operations Director, Konstantinos Karakaxidis, responsible for guiding, recording, and monitoring all related issues and procedures.

With producers on the other hand, because our preference for them significantly strengthens local economies and ensures the sustainability of their units. And because the relationship between us is always a warm, personal bond of trust and mutual respect.

THANOPOULOS &amp; MEGA Continue “Power of Joy” Program for Another Year
 The 100% Greek companies MEGA and D. THANOPOULOS stand responsibly by children in need, launching a new social initiative titled “Dynamis Haras” (Power of Joy). Following the 2024 annual coverage, the program continues into 2025, offering extended annual support for psychological services and therapy sessions (speech therapy and occupational therapy) for the girls of the Agia Anna Christian Shelter Foundation.
“Power of Joy” program continues to focus on the evaluation, prognosis, and restoration of disorders related to Speech, Language, Communication, Learning, Organization and Execution of daily activities, as well as Movement, Writing, Reading, Play and Social Skills of the girls in need. Additionally, recognizing the importance of their psychosocial health, the program will cover for a second consecutive year the annual cost of psychotherapy sessions for the girls in need, thus contributing to their smooth psychosomatic development.
This initiative is part of MEGA's overall Corporate Social Responsibility program "Acts of Care" for Society.&nbsp; &nbsp; The program is hosted exclusively at THANOPOULOS supermarkets, with the first phase already completed in 2024 and set to continue throughout 2025. About the Organization The Agia Anna Christian Shelter for Girls, founded in 1972, has been operating for more than 50 years. Still located in Nea Kifisia-Attica, at 24 Anoixeos Street, it was founded from the vision of two women to offer support to children in need, within a safe, family-like environment. As a child protection foundation, it is a non-profit provider of secondary social care services and operates on a non-profit basis. It serves as a transitional housing facility for girls and, to date, has offered support to over 500 girls aged 4 to 18.&nbsp; Beyond shelter, it provides accommodation, medical treatment, education, and psychological support. Its operation is supported by an unpaid five-member commitee, an eight-member paid staff and numerous volunteers who generously contribute to the ongoing work of the facility at every stage.
